atelierjones received an Award of Merit at the 2025 AIA Seattle Honor Awards for our ongoing work on Mass Timber end-of-life scenarios for disassembly and reuse. Form Follows Fiber included research that began with the full Life Cycle Assessment of Heartwood conducted with the University of Washington School of Environmental and Forest Studies, and has continued through research on real-world disassembly studies conducted with XL Construction and our 2025 CLT Cannibalism studio at the University of Washington College of the Built Environment.
