SEATTLE SOCIAL HOUSING!
atelierjones is immensely proud to be working with the Seattle Social Housing Developer to design SSHD’s first construction project. A first of its kind in the US, this milestone project will be the first of many in a city-wide effort to address housing affordability, and bring historically-displaced residents back to their home neighborhoods.
The new building will provide around 20 mixed-income housing units, a majority with 2 and 3 bedrooms. The site at 23rd & Yesler Way was previously owned by Frank Chopp, a former speaker of the Washington State House and longtime advocate for affordable housing.
